Jim
Clune
Chief Communications Officer, National CASA Association:
“We
have been working with Betsy Helgager and BLH Consulting, Inc. for over
a year now, and we are proud and appreciative to have such a powerful
ally in our work for abused and neglected children.
The
BLH team began their work by digging deep into our cause, interviewing
dozens of CASA volunteers in focus groups and in the field, until they
crafted the Everyday Heroes PR and collateral campaign, one of the most
compelling CASA volunteer recruitment campaigns in the history of National
CASA. Then, they recruited Judge Glenda Hatchett to represent us - 100%
pro bono - as our national spokesperson. And then they successfully
placed this powerful volunteer recruitment campaign in Essence Magazine,
Jet Magazine, conducted radio media tours; placed CASA representatives
in venues such as the National Urban League Conference, the National
NAACP Conference, just to name a few of her outreach successes. As a
result, we have increased our African-American volunteer inquiries a
thousand fold, producing perhaps hundreds of new volunteer advocates
for the abused children who need them.
I
look at where we were prior to hiring BLH Consulting and where we are
now, and I am stunned with how far we have come thanks to the BLH team.
Betsy and her team is held in high esteem by me and National CASA staff,
by our Board of Directors and by everyone in our network who comes into
contact with them. If you would like to discuss with me further how
BLH Consulting has contributed to our work, and how they can significantly
help you with yours, please feel free to contact me directly."
